The club has available, in both Icelandic and English, badges with the club insignia. They cost 500 Icelandic kronurs, (that's about 7 dollars). Suport our knowledge and understanding
of the king of birds in the Westman Islands - the Puffin. 25% of every
badge sold goes to the B.S. Bruce McMillan foundation which supports research
and contributes the knowledge to our Atlantic Puffin (Fratercula arctica).
The Chairman of the Bruce McMillan foundation in the Westman Islands is
Mr. Kristján Egilsson of the Aquarium and Museum of Natural History.
Bruce McMillan is the outhor of "Nights of the Pufflings". 1995
and "Puffins Climb, Penguins Rhyme" 1995. |
